Dalton Call is a director, film editor & photographer based in Southern Utah, currently studying Digital Film and Photography at Utah Tech University.
He has been honing in his ability to speak the language of film and effective creative collaboration. Being an award-winning fine-art photographer and commercial photographer has led him to bring a controlled spontaneity and auteurist style to the film medium. His knowledge and love for analog photography is what drives a large portion of aesthetic inspiration for his second directed short film “On a Hilltop in Maine,” which landed numerous accolades via Utah Tech University, namely Best Directed Short Film.

Artist Statement
"I believe in working with what you’ve got. I frequently work with analog mediums as a way to embrace shortcomings. I like seeing the artist’s hand in the work, because just like people, art is imperfect.
Being a hobbyist musician, and allowing myself to have so many different avenues for creativity, I refuse to halt the endless stream of inspiration. Never strip a song, image, or film of its personality."
